Your end of year survival guide

5 tips to help you recharge your batteries at the end of the year

  1. Get outside as much as you can. Nature heals. If there are deadlines overwhelming you, rather than another coffee or nibble of a Christmas cookie, get some fresh air and sunlight!

  2. We are social creatures. Face-to-face connection and eye contact with others is really good for our wellbeing. Try to put your devices aside when you are catching up with others. Be there and be present, it will fill your cup more than if you are disconnected from the moment taking photos of what you are doing.

  3. Get your sleep sorted, more tips on that here too… and be sure to check out this eye mask which is a game changer!

  4. Boundaries are essential in all aspects of our lives, but part of agreeing to everything and saying yes when we really want to say no is often a sign we are trying to please others or have a fear of missing out. Being a ‘yes’ person is something to think more about… maybe a 2024 goal?!

  5. Trying new things is good for our mental wellbeing – the time might not be right now, but if you are having a week or so off over the break, think about something new you can try or reconnect with an old hobby that gave you joy.

Here’s to you having a calm and enjoyable end to your year x
